St. Valentine's day

Saint Valentine’s Day’s
                                 when we celebrate
The bonds of love,
                         the want
                                       for a soulmate.
That’s the high day
to listen to your heart –
To bring love
to the level of the art!
This day, the wind bemoans
                            if we fail
To meet
at the crossroads of the fate
Each other,
                 unaware walking past
Like in a play
                 disastrously miscast,
If lonely hearts
                 keep yearning for a bliss
Of living through,
                appreciating this –
If only
          for a moment –
                                 a clutch
Of loving hands…
         albeit a fleeting touch,
The lightest graze –
            and happy
                    with that much!
May no more the wind
                           wail and bemoan –
But warm two hearts
                           that are no longer lone;
May it become
as hot as a desert gale
And never grow cold
                           or shorten sail!
