Reflection in my flower

...If my reflection could be read  –
Would this be lust and inner fires?
I’m not alone in my desires –
Forbidden grounds are safe to tread…

Under my heart a flower lies
As an unborn yet wanted child:
Each petal incarnates delight
Awash with an aura, undefiled.
Intoxicating is the scent
That permeated me for ever –
Same way as Eve who used to spend
Her days in rosaries of heaven.

Oh Adam, taste the apple again –
You have partaken once your share,
And there’s no turning back:
Desserts await the one who fared fared
From bitter foods of endless Lent…
Restraint would only bring on sorrows!
While love is never sour – it’s meant
To be a beacon th(e) God bestows.

…Under my heart
                            the petals lie,
Innumerable
                             and delightful…
Accept my best thanks for your love –
That’s all I ever needed rightly.
