Age of Maturity

Believe me, I do like my age —
I’ve naught to hide before Creator!
To each his own — I was fated,
To ever keep my youthful ways:
When with excitement glisten eyes,
When you walk light as if you’re dancing,
When young’uns sing you love romances…
I feel the same — why would I cry
Of the delightful age I prize?
